My Official Coolest FaceBook Moment EVER was getting the following notification:
"Howard Jones has accepted your friend request."
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!! OH EM GEE!!!1111
It's different than on MySpace, where your favorite artist has thousands upon thousands of friends. Right now Howard only has 200+ FaceBook friends.
But he was sitting there FaceBooking at the same time as me, and I've got butterflies in my stomach right now :-) I am such a huge New Wave geek as it is, and Howard has been one of my all-time favorites since like, 1983. So I'm like, totally buzzing right now.
I just had to tell somebody before I asploded. That is all.

I was always faintly bemused by the success of "No One Is To Blame" (which after hearing in the supermarket the other day I realized is always gonna remind me of one of my more ill-behaved exes) because I'd always liked HoJo's earlier stuph, and perhaps not unlike the BOHF reaction to Nu Hu fans, I was all, "Where have you people been?" ;)
